Although old tape stains and residue are not offensive to me, is there any "home remedy" to address this on an insert or half sheet (thicker paper)? this is only a question to address my curiosity..... to prove this type of stain doesn't bother me, i have a hitchcock ROPE insert*** from the "top" ebayer seller where i saw this issue before bidding. I never considered it offensive before i bid....and it doesn't bother me now. it has been framed prominently from the day I got it....and except for 3 residue tape stains, this poster, is (normal folded) NEAR MINT..... hence....why touch it? why touch it and then have to say, minor restoration? i know answers will include "airbrush"----but "airbrush" means paint. some might suggest white pastel pencil ????? this is the poster: _http://www.emovieposter.com/imagearchive/poster/61933.html_ (http://www.emovieposter.com/imagearchive/poster/61933.html) ( .....and this wasn't the most expensive hitchcock poster i bought that night !!!! ) ***i just bought the half sheet, and the insert is far superior, although the artwork/image is the same thanks michael
