I know we have a number of poster restorers on the list, so I need some
advice.
I'm framing a 48X70 bus stop poster that is in almost perfect condition,
except for 2 very small dimples right in the center of a black field. The
dimples have just cracked the surface of the poster, exposing a little
white.
Any recommendations on how to conceal these small white blemishes? The bus
stop poster is printed on a type of paper stock I'm not familiar with, it's
almost like what large banners are printed on and already has UV protection
applied (obviously since it's designed to be outdoors).
I'm not sure if I should even attempt a touch-up, but I'm afraid the 2
little white "dots" will really stand out when the framing is finished.
