Sorry to hear that. And I'm also embarassed to say that I thought he died years ago.
He was an interesting actor (if not a deep one) who managed to successfully fight off being typecast as a psycho heavy after Kiss of Death. Just recently re-watched Panic in the Streets. Thanks to great writing, acting (Widmark, Barbara Bel Geddes, Jack Palance, Zero Mostel), cinematography (shot on location in New Orleans) and direction (Elia Zazan), it still comes off as relatively fresh and contemporary. Quite an achievement for a film shot almost 60 years ago! March 2008 has been brutal. %/ Neil http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7315340.stm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rise to the challenge for Sport Relief with Yahoo! for Good Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
