Sorry to post again, but Tom Martin forgot to mention that his son
made a film about a ROW-but.
I think you're slipping, Tom. You may need to hire me as the personal
assistant to Tom Martin. I'll fact-check all your press releases.
I'll need to make at least $200,000 per year, because I'm now
considered to be one of the major collectors of Universal horror.
Thanks,
Roger

You say Row-but - I say Row-Bought...... I Love robots.... and Ive
sold many over the years,, like the
remote control r2-d2 also Coke did a rippoff one thats hard to
find.. the Masuda toy compant made some killer Robby the robots and
even the Maria from Metropolis... I almost sold some from a company
in La called ICONS however I heard they went belly up andsome
people didnt get delivery.
I have several friend that made some replica Robots and My son made
a lifesize R2DR that he displayed
at the local theater on opening day of the 1997 Trilogy re-release
and it was featured on the local news..
The Honda asmnov Robot is spellbinding and I would like to make
some relica Robots from the 50s
and other large props. Actually before Icons came out with all that
I was trying to develope these props.. and the studios wanted 50K
in advance from me..To do a Road warrior Jacket.. I planned to have
Miller and Gibson sign them and I had the actual armor piece to
make the sholder piec as I bought a semi load of Football shoulder
pads to try to sell to Lucasfilm as stormtroopers.. It was like
1983. Lucas had just finished the Jedi so they didnt think they
could use it... So i sold some for a movie called Metalstorm
to Doug white effects labs.. Then I landed distribution of chome
plated armor to Morris costumes
and sold it years in all the sci fi magazines Like STARLOG... find
a old copy and youll see my ads/
Funny part was the Girl in the ad//// Is actually a female
impersonator... that posed for me as in that
year woman where to afraid of wearing wild costumes... - GO
figure... Now.. Im considered tame
untodays world...
The armor was used by illistrators at TSR games for package covers
by Clyde Caldwell.
and Im told may have been used by some poster artists for models...
It was geatured on Real people as a battlestart gallachtega Cylon
centurion,, made by peter Mosen who had rent a alien company in NYC
and worked for Starlog....... ROBOTS ROCK!!! Mel Blanc was the
voice Of twiki from Buck rogers
he did the voice for me on the phone... he also did mr. spacely in
the jetsons

Mopoers,
If I may discuss posters for a moment...
Today I won an eBay auction for an "Abbott & Costello Meet Jekyll
& Hyde" lobby card. After many years of collecting movie posters,
I can now count myself among that elite group of collectors who
buy Universal horror. I congratulate myself.
