I'd be very interested to buy earlier Video release Horror, B Grade
Actioners and Exploitation posters, especially ones that have the same
art as the actual video cover.
if someone has a 2020 TEXAS GLADIATORS Video poster I'll pay twice
what the Theatrical poster sells for 9as an example.

I can think of a few video posters that should be desirable, but
probably aren't:
1) Annie (Disney) - No theatrical release
2) Not of this Earth (Traci Lords) - alternate artwork
3) Little Voice - alternate artwork. Video poster shows cast,
including Ewan MacGregor and Michael Caine. Theatrical poster only
shows the back of Jane Horrocks.
4) Plan 9 from Outer Space - alternate artwork. Obviously much cheaper
than the theatrical poster.

The theaters (or the exchanges) would often have the backs of
lobby cards overprinted with a colorful border design with an 8"
x 10" rectangle in the center, and then the stills would be
either stapled or taped to the back of the card, sometimes with
the "four cut method" Helmut describes (and when this was done,
the still was tucked into each of the four cuts, and then a piece
of tape was often put on each corner of the back of the still,
which was the FRONT of the lobby card).
I have sold hundreds of lobby cards altered in this way. It just
shows that lobby cards for films that had "made the circuit" were
considered complete trash, much like old newspapers, and that
also explains why next to no one saved them, and why they are
rare today.
When someone makes a "limited edition" item, with 300 of that
item selling for $100 each, after 20 years there are usually 295
-300 still in collectors hands. But when you make something
EVERYONE considers both disposable and worthless, then after 20
years there are usually next-to-none in collectors hands.
That is why video posters have potential to be one of the great
collectibles. I have never seen ONE person who thinks they will
ever be worth anything!
