Here's another million dollar idea that I'm donating to Tom Martin --
free of charge.
He can record "rude audience tracks" which are tailor made for each
newly released DVD. The major studios will pay Tom for these tracks
and add them to DVDs an an optional way of listening to the movie. In
addition to hearing the normal movie soundtrack, you will also hear
people coughing, slowly unwrapping their candy, answering cell
phones, and making insightful commentary such as:
"Dude, watch this! This guy's about to get killed!"
"Hey, is that the same guy from CSI: Miami?"
"Hey, is that the same guy from the last scene? They all look the same."
"Hey, shut up over there!"
"Well, @@#$ you!!!"
These special audio tracks will make you feel like you're in a real
movie theater. I personally would turn this option on whenever
available.
I can't wait for the 2001: A Space Odyssey Platinum Edition DVD
featuring Rude Audience Track. ("Oh my gawd...this is the most boring
film I've ever seen.")
