Speaking of reprints...While I was procrastinating from doing yard work today, I found this website that sells full size "fine art prints" of one-sheets, half-sheets, inserts, and lobby cards of popular classic films, including a lot of sky-fi/horror.

Later, when I was looking for a Blood Beach one-sheet on e**y, I noticed that one seller was selling full size limited edition prints of this title. I did not think that Blood Beach was a hugely popular title, so I was surprised that someone was making copies of it.

Are these reprints finding their way into antique stores, estate sales, etc. as originals?

It seems like there's the potential for a lot of people to get ripped off, and improving technology will continue to make it easier.

Some day, the only safe way to buy movie posters will be to collect forgotten pre-1950's titles that have lousy art and no stars.
