With just a few hours to go, there are still 410 of the lobby cards I am auctioning under $10 (and 250 of those are at from $1 to $4 each).
Now I could understand this better if these were crappy cards, OR if they carried those absurd $9 buyers premiums each, OR if they were sold with rip-off shipping, but there are some nice cards languishing at just a few dollars each, and even the ones that are much higher priced are mostly WAY under the money you see for such cards at big city auctions, or collectible shows, or from dealers' websites. Of course, lots of these MAY get last minute bids, but then again they may not, but if there are lots of good deals, then you won't have gotten them unless you were the one bidding! Thursday auctions: On May 22nd, we added a great group of 800 single title and scene lobby cards including a collection of 12 signed cards TO OUR NEW AUCTIONS ON OUR WEBSITE in our sixth set of non-eBay auctions (plus an incredible bonus offer!) and they close on Thursday, May 29th! Read more about these below, or go see them right now (with large thumbnails) in our Thursday Auction Gallery at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/14.html! So why not see them in our Gallery now? INCREDIBLE! Three bonus books to every buyer of ANY one or more of the current 800 scene and title lobby cards! Every buyer (even if they only get one $1 item!) gets Who Goes There?, Warner Bros. Movie Posters at Auction, and Vintage Hollywood Posters VIII as a bonus, and we will offer a different set of three next week in our seventh non-eBay auction. Be sure to visit this week's Special Notes page for more details about these special auctions! We continue to actively seek feedback from all buyers, to find any changes we can make that will improve our auction site, so if you have any ideas for us, send an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and let him know what they are! These are true NO RESERVE auctions with many great deals! Remember that, in BOTH of our weekly auctions (unlike some other sellers of vintage movie paper), every single one of our items truly start at 99 cents OR $1 with NO RESERVE! And we are not talking about the super-inflated shipping and crazy "buyers premiums" you see in other major auctions! In OUR auctions, most weeks you can purchase up to FIFTEEN 99 cent/$1 items and your total cost is $14.85, plus a very reasonable $9-$11 U.S. shipping charge for any of the items in our Thursday auctions (U.S. shipping for the Tuesday items is just $5, because they are stills, and know that our Tuesday items CAN be combined with our Thursday items, because both go in flat packages, but if you buy from both days, you pay the $9 to $11 U.S. shipping)! YOU can't get the great deals that happen week after week in our auctions if you aren't bidding! AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE! If you place a bunch of fairly low bids but only get one or two items, then you are sure to be happy, for you will have gotten some really good deals. Even if you place a bunch of bids and get nothing at all, you will only be out a little of your time, and no more. We feel certain that if you purchase even one of them, and then once you see how honestly we describe them and how we charge only the actual shipping cost and how we send them right out promptly and well-packed, that you will declare your independence from those auction houses with the outrageous buyers premiums, the over-graded items, the misleading images that obscure defects, and the outrageous shipping! View Our Items with Our Large Thumbnail Auction Galleries! One of the worst kept "secrets" in the movie poster hobby is that it is FAR easier to look at our items through our Tuesday Auction Gallery and our Thursday Auction Gallery. We have our own galleries which have much larger images of each item than eBay does, so that you can determine if an item interests you BEFORE you click on it, thus making your surfing time far more productive. PLUS these galleries are searchable by star, director, genre, year, or anything you want to search for! Once you discover our galleries we would be amazed if you go back to looking at our items any other way. In case of outages, we have backup versions of both our online galleries. But you can't get there if our main site is down, if you don't have a bookmark to them! So, please add http://www.emovieposter.info (where our backup galleries are found) to your favorites/bookmarks Don't forget to check out our 600 TUESDAY ITEMS on eBay (on our " emovieposter.com" eBay account) sometime BEFORE they end Tuesday, May 27th, beginning around 7 PM CST by going to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/1.html (remember that these are on eBay!) And also be sure to check out our 800 THURSDAY ITEMS on our website (at Thursday Auction Gallery) sometime BEFORE they end Thursday May 29th, beginning around 7 PM CST by going to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/14.html (remember that these are on our site!) And you can always access our galleries by using the link from our homepage, http://www.emovieposter.com. Good luck on whatever you may bid on. Bruce Hershenson and the eMoviePoster.com team P.O.
