you are mistaken. No such rights are transferred with the sale of the art unless they are expressly included in the sale
first of all the studio owns the rights to that image until the rights run out
then the Reynold Brown family owns the subsequent rights if they request re-assignment of copyright

however, the poster itself I believe is in the Public Domian and can be reprinted - ad nauseum - by anyone

If a studio commissions the painting they own it and the rights for the posters to be made…that is until they sell the original artwork off…then they lose that right once the original passes hands.

I just see all these quality reprints showing up on flea-bay and wondering if anybody could put a stop to it.
