This is Bruce Hershenson. Thursday night, several hours after the 6/12 color
still auctions closed, our website's computer server failed from
approximately 12 midnight CST on 6/13 until approximately 5 PM CST on 6/13
(some portions of the site were restored prior to that time). None of the
bidding in the auction was affected at all, as the outage began well after
the last auction ended (and after we sent notification e-mails to all the
buyers).

You may recall that one week ago, the hard drive on our server failed, and
that caused an outage of approximately 12 hours. At that time, our host
replaced the hard drive, but obviously they did not check over the entire
system, for just one week later, the entire computer server failed. The
host has now replaced the computer server, and much of our site is now
functional, but there are a few problems that are yet to be corrected (but
none relating to our auctions). Because of the weekend, we will leave the
website as it is until Monday morning, when we will finish fixing the few
portions of our site that still need to be restored to full functioning
status.

The website outage last night caused one additional problem. All e-mails
sent to us after midnight on the 13th and before noon on the 13th (the times
of the outage) almost certainly did not reach us, and need to be re-sent to
us (if you have any doubts about whether we received an e-mail from you sent
during that time, it is better to be safe and re-send it). Because this
outage primarily occurred in the middle of the night in the United States,
it is unlikely that very many e-mails were lost, but if you think you sent
an e-mail during that time, you should certainly re-send it.

We very much apologize for this inconvenience, and will do whatever is
necessary to correct any problems that occurred during this downtime. We
appreciate your understanding of this problem, and know that it is something
that all websites encounter from time to time! Certainly, we will
immediately look to find a more reliable host, but we have been asking for
years now, and it seems that all hosts have similar problems.

If you have the slightest problem of any kind, please either e-mail
[EMAIL PROTECTED], or call us at 417-256-9616 during regular business
hours (Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM Central Time except from 12
to 1 when we take lunch).

*WE HAVE NOW RESTORED THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR WEBSITE, AND BOTH OUR TUESDAY
AND THURSDAY AUCTIONS ARE COMPLETELY RESTORED!* You can go to our Tuesday
Gallery at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/13.html and our Thursday
Gallery at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/14.html, and if you have not
been there yet, you should really go *NOW*, because we have a lot of
excellent three-sheets, six-sheets, British quads, and Argentinean posters
in our Tuesday auction and a lot of great single stills (including many *GREAT
*Marlene Dietrich and candid stills) in our Thursday auction, so if you
collect any of the above sizes, you won't want to miss these auctions!

We very much apologize for any inconvenience our website outage caused.
