I'm sorry to hear about Cyd Charisse. Brigadoon was my favorite of her movies. I saw her several years ago at the Hollywood Collectors Show, where she signed some posters for me. (So to answer that other question, yes, I do like signed stuff, particularly if the signature doesn't obscure anything important.) I was not paying attention too closely, and it turns out that she did not sign all of my lobby cards. I guess when you're 80 years old, and you're thumbing through a stack of cards, you are bound to miss a few. It seemed like she wasn't very chatty with the crowd, probably because she didn't have a lot of energy. It was fun seeing her anyway.
