As I recall, "Zippi," or "Zippy" was a chimp on one of the 50s television shows. He/she "zipped" around on a pair of roller skates. (Maybe it was on "Howdy Doody.") I don't think, though, that "Zippy" was the chimp who created colorful paintings live on the black-and-white "Today Show," though. The public even bought the paintings. Perhaps one could obtain one or two of the chimp's (hell, I remembered!!-- that one was "J. Fred Muggs!!:), put them on Ebay and SELL them to a public who will spend hours of its week watching the drivel that is the Idol Franchise!! Wonder if the Public would give Bad Feedback to the Seller(s) of such material. After all, it IS historic and, presumably, "collectable!" The California-based company remained in pre-launch for most of 2007, using the time to gather consumer and industry feedback and make appropriate modifications to its products and services. "We've worked hard to develop an innovative sales model, entrepreneur network, partnerships, mobile services, and hardware and software tools to enable eBay and online sellers to flourish," said Robert Rositano, Jr., Zippi's CEO. "Our solution facilitates a pipeline of unique consignment items, generating more listings for eBay, and provides the ability for sellers to earn commissions on every sale." The GoZippi service allows consumers to turn their clutter into cash by calling 1-877-GO-ZIPPI to summon a local Zipster(TM) who will assist in pricing, picking up, and selling the items on eBay. Upon the completed sale of each item Zippi's system automatically delivers the check to the item owner, and the Zippi Launch Highlights eBay Live! 2008 Zipster(TM) earns a commission which appears automatically in their Pay Pal account. Zippi does all the "heavy lifting," while consumers reap the benefits. In addition to providing a great service, Zippi also offers excellent career and entrepreneurial opportunities at three levels. Serious eBay sellers can choose to become a Zipster by purchasing "Team Builder(TM)" allowing others to join their Zippi Team and grow their income. Those who "want it all" can become a Zipster at the "Pro" level and take advantage of Zippi's Mobile selling system, a business in the palm of your hand which features a strong commission, bonuses, awards, and incentives structure.
