a few days ago, i received a question from an ebayer regarding my poster
(Crosby poster with starting price of 49.99, ending today). i stated in the
description, "original" INSERT.
the question was, what are the dimensions of your poster?
having had another email from him, i learned that he wanted to buy my
poster, but he did not want to buy it since he did not want to invest in
expensive
frames, since he had a few inserts unframed.
WOW---
1. he was not aware of the standard measurements.
2. he thought that unless you get custom frames, you must go to stores
like K-Mart or Sears and buy ready-made frames.
SO.......................i told him to join MOPO and gave him the link. i
explained topics like this are often addressed, and that he could post
questions. i, also, said that he should explore vendors like sue heim, and
gave him
her LINK. although i never purchased from sue, i told him that she is an
honorable MOPOer.
point is.............we take for granted so much. i remember the learning
process i had, but that was before MOPO.
