It seems at auction..and perhaps heritage is the best example..that there are always some pieces that go high due to perhaps a bidding war between to parties who are of the mind that they will have the piece at any price...i own a poster which i paid $5000 for about 4 yrs ago which went for triple that at a heritage auction..so am i now supposed to think that my poster is worth that much or do you take an average of what the poster has sold for over recent years?
