Hi Folks -
I am studying some original title, matte and poster artwork shown to
me by Russell Roberts's family -
(see REEL ART - page 105 for info on Russell)
There are a number of interesting 1930's-1960's paintings that were
under credits on some great old films.
We ID'd Gigi, Taras Bulba, Merry WIdow and others.
Some of them - like a series of images of old New York - I can almost
place, but just can't put a name to the film title.
If anyone with a great movie art memory would find this fun -
Please email me and I will send you some jpegs and see if you can ID
any of the films from which this artwork came.
Thanks in advance for anybody who wants to "take the quiz" -
I will share answers when and if positive ID is made.
