Hi Michael --- I've blocked people who don't pay for items and buyers who are pains in the a** like the one you described below whom I rather not deal with. I had another purchaser of $10 stills in Finland who started complaining that he didn't receive his purchase 5 days after he paid for it. Even though I had shipped his parcel immediately upon payment, he couldn't accept the idea that NY to Finland took more than 5 days and when he did get the package he claimed the photos were not near MINT as I described (they were) and wanted a full refund without sending the photos back!
The only downside to blocking a bidder is that you will lose a customer in the future. The upside is that you will lose THIS customer in the future. The only way they can retaliate is if they haven't already left you a feedback for something they had previously purchased. How was Cinecom? I haven't gone in about 5 years. Do you all ever block bidders? One occasional buyer of $10 photos insists on leaving me positive feedback with a lukewarm comment about how I am difficult to pay (because I ask people to logon directly to Paypal and not use ebay checkout). I really want to block her as a bidder, but are there any consequences to blocking? Does it just piss off the blockee and can they "retaliate?"
