Here in Houston we are bracing for the arrival of Hurricane Ike, which is due
to make landfall as a category 3 storm on Saturday morning. We will begin
feeling the effects of its approach tomorrow.....
In 2005 it was Katrina and Rita. This year it's Hannah and Ike....
Initially, Ike was due to make landfall about 90 miles to the south of the
Houston, Galveston area, but the latest models have moved us closer to center
of the storm.
Since we are located in the northern central part of the city, we will be
riding this one out.
Prayers are gladly accepted.....
