What is the 'Aliens: Ride at the Speed of Fright'? It was a ride at Fisherman's Wharf (San Francisco, California). It was at the TurboRide Simulation Theatre and it was called Aliens: Ride at the Speed of Fright. These theatres are popping up in a lot of the "touristy" areas around the country, but this was the first one with an Aliens theme. The premise was that you are accompanying the lone survivor of a mission that encountered Aliens back to the site of their discovery. The seats move on hydraulic lifts to match the video and it gets pretty nauseating from time to time. You fly in a dropship to the surface and then take an APC into the complex.
