The kids in "To Kill a Mockingbird" are on their way to a Halloween play
when they are attacked...Scout is dressed as a ham...in a really scary
scene in the climax of this classic film.
And, of course, there's "Donnie Darko", where the entire film revolves
around an evil character in a Halloween costume. (I was just in New
York, and that evil bunny suit seems to be a big fave at the costume shops.)
