We registered an AOL account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) so we could always be able to
definitely contact other AOL users who buy from us or have made an enquiry,
having given up on trying to convince them to either switch from AOL or at
least understand to customise their settings for receiving mail.

All most odd, really, and just one more email address we need to go and check
every few days.

Generally speaking, [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the best way to contact us. If you are
on AOL you may well get two replies.
Phil

  Bummer!

I converted my mother's AOL dialup to DSL, which was approximately 10 times
faster and $5 cheaper -- and I never looked back! I'm actually suprised that
ANYONE uses AOL, and almost every other option is better. This list talks
about the pros and cons of using AOL about once a year -- and for the life of
me, I don't recall a single pro.

Take this opportunity to bail out. Take your contact list and send everyone
an email with your change of address.

You may want to look around on your computer for other copies of your photos.
You may find them in places that you don't expect. Use the search on your
start menu and search everywhere for '*.jpg' and '*.gif''

  Good luck!

  Evan

    Hey Gang;
Just a stupid question... Although I use another high-speed provider
for my Internet service, I've continued to also hold on to AOL for many
reasons, including their image hosting... I couldn't help but notice that my
eBay items with AOL images no longer have the pics up... upon investigating, it
came to my attention that AOL supposedly sent out an e-mail on September 30th
with this announcement.
I usually catch such e-mails and can't help but wonder if there are any
other AOL members out there that did indeed receive this e-mail? All my pix are
gone, never to be seen again. Needless to say, I'm more pissed-off at AOL than
ever before... I don't think even EBAY has made me this angry as of late!
