Tonight's auctions brought our year's total to $3,009,627, our first ever
three million dollar year (after 19 consecutive million dollar years), and
in the face of the worst economic recession in my lifetime, and 8 months
after we left eBay to auction on our own site.
We will be computing exactly which auction tonight put us over the three
million dollar mark, and tomorrow we will be giving that buyer a set of our
books, plus a whole lot of other movie paper books and Masterprints, a total
retail of over $2,000! With luck, maybe that buyer will be a MoPo member
(and it would be really funny if that person solely bought one poster for
just 2 or 3 dollars!
Many thanks to all of our 30,000+ customers (several hundred of whom are
MoPo members), without whom this could never have happened.
