As I now look at the seller's other items, I'm thinking this one came from a package of (would-be?) commercial large format posters. It's not clear how they got they idea that they were "subway" posters. This KILL BILL is the only one I've noticed that even resembles a real movie poster.

Shipping them or any 40x60 First Class, as this seller promises to do, would also be something of a trick. If for some reason I found myself seized with the desire to purchase one of these, I'd want to know what he really intends to do about shipping. I think that pretty much solves the "mystery," such as it is. Thanks to all for the thoughts on the subject.
