The "general rule?" -- Michael, you must be kidding.

What rule?

The rule of supply and demand, maybe.

In my opinion there is no orthodoxy about this.

QUESTION: when the artwork is IDENTICAL, which is more valuable-- the lobby or the half sheet?

Today i received a rolled, excellent condition 1944 PEARL OF DEATH. In checking prices, i came across 2 sales only: Heritage sold 2 half sheets in 2002 for $356 and $661. Emovipeostor shows no sales of the half.

On ebay now is an excellent condition lobby for $750:

I am trying to understand the general rule: when the artwork is lDENTICAL, which is more valuable--the lobby or the half sheet?

thanks
