MessageMaybe an image with the text "THIS IS NOT A VIDEO. THIS IS NOT A DVD"
will do the trick. You may even make it a animated gif and give it a red
blinking border or something like that.

Really good point but this should only happen if one is searching by
description, as opposed to title only and I have no statistics on whether the
totally unsophisticated search that way. Unfortunately I think some people just
don't read. FRANC

All of you should realize that by putting "THIS IS NOT A VIDEO. THIS IS NOT
A DVD" in the description, you greatly increase the chance of this happening,
because by have those words in the description means anyone searching for those
items will find YOUR items in their search!

You're lucky. I get these ALL THE TIME even though my postings all say in
big bold print: THIS IS NOT A VIDEO. THIS IS NOT A DVD. Usually the buyer
completes and pays for the transaction and then sends an e-mail saying, "I just
ordered a video from you." This is to ensure additional work on my part,
cancelling the transaction through Ebay so that I can get my commission fee
back and reversing the PayPal payment. It also means I have to recreate the
listing for my dbase which automatically deletes listings once a purchase is
made. I love customers who don't read the listing.

The second dumbest question that I get ALL THE TIME and love to death is
from people who see I'm selling a lobby card from let's say The Bride Wore
Boots who'll write to me and ask where they can find the DVD because they've
been looking all over for it. FRANC

I know I don't sell as many items as many of you all do, but I still
have yet (knock on wood) to have a single person complain that they thought
they were ordering a DVD, or ask a DVD question while the auction was running.

VHS?
