I'm still trying to figure this out -- but at DVDtalk.com, there's a brazen ad for a newly remastered high-quality DVD of Disney's "Song of the South" being sold in the U.S. As most people know, this picture has been on home video moratorium for years because of "racial sensitivities" -- yet somehow, this page has continued offering this product for sometime without interference: http://www.songofthesouthdvdremastered.com/ I just purchased a copy and will let you know if it's all as advertised. The only version I still own is a "pre-moratorium" disc that Joe B. in NOLA sent me sometime back. Please let the list know if you have had any experience with the merchant at the link above...or suspect (as I mildly do) -- that this is an unauthorized product.... -d.
