jeff....try and keep up.......the simple point I was making is that loce has it listed as a movie poster from 1903. I also found info. from another dealer on line (vintageposterworks) who believe it is a film poster from around 1910. Phil and Bruce seem to think otherwise, that it isn't a movie poster but a poster to advertise a live performance. I'm leaning towards it being for a live performance as it makes more sense...., but I'm not convinced either way yet. I have a call in to a religious poster expert friend of Marty Davis, I'll let you all know what he says. and on another note, as I've said before more than a few times, I just think it is wrong to do business with the ones constantly selling fakes as originals....the criminals who know full well what they are doing and not giving a shit, so I banned them a long time ago. Obviously, some other dealers here think it is ok to deal with them. No big deal.....just different opinions on where to draw the line on who you do and don't do business with. this got me thinking.......how bad does someone have to be before you won't deal with them? I'll start a new thread....
