I could have sworn I once saw an "auction" ended early, but a final-price
(much higher than the original starting price) was stated. This was back when
the winning bidders were shown... Since then, I've been looking for that
feature for when that sort of thing comes up with no avail.
If there isn't, well, there should be an option for the seller to accept a
ridiculous high offer on an auction item, and still have it an 'official' eBay
transaction.
I know I didn't DREAM it, however I must be losing my mind lately, because I
thought Ron Silver died last year rather than last weekend... Why would I
think that??? Was his illness made public last year and I just 'wrote him off'
as-dead?
