As a general rule, one should attempt to not mix business with personal, but
there are always exceptions to every rule, depending on circumstance.

One rule I have followed ... if I transact (buy or sell) with someone, and
there is a resulting 'bad taste', there are no second transactions.

Hypothetically....would you do business with:

a guy who gives away bootlegs FREE (clearly marked as bootlegs) to other
collectors AND SEVERAL DEALERS for educational purposes....and who also sells
pretty woman one sheets for $500.00 ;)

the guy who owns/runs the auction house (christies) that let at least 2 people
bid over $1400.00 for a raging bull one sheet (should they have stopped them
and said you are bidding way too high?)

a guy in rochester  that knowingly sells fake posters as originals day in and
day out

the bully who beat you up in grade school

barry bonds, roger clemens, or alex rodriguez

your fiercest competitor that you hate with a passion (whatever business you
are in)

george bush

bernie madoff

a known child molester

a known murderer

osama bin laden
