"Finder's fee" paid This week, Joe Bonelli gave me the excellent idea for my current poll, that of movies that woiuld have been better with their Broadway stars. I received some e-mails from club members telling me that was a bad idea, because club members likely wouldn't have an opinion, but in less than 24 hours I have received around 100 votes, somewhat better than average, which tells me that those e-mailers were under-estimating the club members Broadway experience, and that Joe's poll idea was great! I wonder if some MoPo members might have a poll idea, and I will give a set of 23 books to anyone whose idea I use (I pay Media Mail shipping in the U.S., and non-U.S. must pay the difference between Media Mail and actual cost). Remember that the question must have multiple choice answers where the voter picks only one choice. I have received some great poll ideas I can't use, because coming up with the list of muliple choice answers is too hard! Also, remember that the polls can be about either movie posters or movies themselves. Bruce P.S. I would like to set up a series of "face-offs" as a separate weekly vote, where people vote for one of two choices (e.g. Karloff vs Lugosi, or Marilyn vs Audrey Hepburn, etc).
