I am friends with the man who knows the man who made these posters for Disney. The man my friend knows is Grayson Marshell. The man who autographed my poster. Also i worked for a large theater chain during the time nightmare came out. Disney was upset over their posters being sold at Christies etc.. that they put serial numbers on the nightmare before chirstmas double sided one sheets. They fined to get the lenticulars back they did not want them sold. Or in this case this is not a lenticular. It is really a raister barrier image it was the first of it's kind and many people consider it a lenticular. So when Disney got these posters back they either took them home like the prototype Hell's Gate. They took those home or gave them to friends. The rest the got had to be destroyed. Remember how many butcher cover albums got killed and a mint one 1st state is worth 20-30k. Companies do not care if a item has a value they are more concerned with what they want to have done with the items they own. Also remember that when a theater gets a poster they do not own them. Many times they are allowed to keep the posters they get. But sometimes they must be returned. A recent example is the Spiderman twin towers. Look at the value of that poster. I hope that clears up how i know about this poster. The top collector of lenticular posters considers me the expert on this one poster. He prefers to keep anonymous and i respect that. I have owned three of these and one Hell's Gate. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO SELL IT BUT I have been a collector of movie items for almost 15 years. Also The Nightmare before Christmas bombed when it was in the theaters the first time. So people might of figure these posters looked cool but had now idea. They would be worth thousands and it would be such a cult classic.
