Entering the homestretch on our auctions this weekend, and I have to say I have literally never seen so much
inactivity. The number of items with zero bids or a single bid really is astounding, and even the items with bids are so far below their norms I won't be surprised if dealers are winning every lot.
When was the last time you heard of a one-sheet for
Funny Face selling for $150, or
World Without End bringing only $129, and
Jungle Captive for $71? (and that doesn't even bring up cool foreign posters like the
Brides of Dracula at $20, or the
Dr. No for $15 or the
Tangiers at $9.99 )
