Not so much.
Still think "Be my baby" etc are amazing.
Just can't get into Charles Manson's musical efforts though.
Or Hitler's watercolours.
(Same goes for the daubs of that odious linen backer who was here a while back.)
Good is good.
Crap is crap.

Funny - that 12" boxed set of PHIL SPECTOR CDs and accompanying book does not look the same to me anymore.

Anyone else feel like that over things like O.J. Simpson in movies, or Michael Jackson et al?

No question that while one can recognise a talent (even a great talent) does not their private actions also dictate how
we perceive their art?

I just have to do this. Sorry. It's Phil SPECTOR. Phil Spector is a specter of a human being.

Even if Spector spends a year in jail, I can smile knowing that each hour will be a living hell for that ugly little mental patient. Buh- bye, Phil. Try some of your mind games and little gun tricks on the likes of Charles Manson. Now if we can just prosecute the people responsible for "American Idol", I will again believe in the efficacy of the American justice system. Heck, Adam Lambert gets three strikes for his rendition of "Ring of Fire" alone. (I must admit that, if nothing else, it was indeed flaming.) Johnny Cash must have done 78 RPMs in his grave.

PS-If you're a horror fan, go see "Drag Me to Hell" immediately. Brilliant escapist entertainment, and extremely funny as well. Sam Raimi is a very sick man., thank God.
