yep ditto, the Reverend Harry Powell is the one that shrieks evil bastard.
Tracking down young children etc..

One that always chilled me to the bone was Damien's nanny: Mrs Maylock (Billie
Whielaw) in The Omen (1976) and honourable mention would go to Friendo.

My choice for "most evil" movie villain is always the same and I'll be
entering it on the website when I get the email on Sunday.
There is nothing more "evil" than a supposed "man of God" who really
isn't!! Therefore, due to the character himself and the brilliant actor who
creates him, the Most Evil Villain Award (in my house, anyway) is the dastardly
"Reverend Harry Powell" as personified by the one and only Robert
Mitchum......"Let me tell you the little story of right hand/left hand, good
and evil, Love and Hate....."

Robert Mitchum as Harry Powell---- it doesn't get more frightening than
that!!!

This week, we are asking you for the "most evil" movie villain. We
are arbitrarily excluding all monsters, animated characters, and any
supernatural characters (with the exception of Conrad Veidt in Thief of Bagdad,
because he is evil in a non-supernatural way, and he gives such a great
performance!). We are trying to focus on those villains who are real human
beings, and are the epitome of evil.
IMPORTANT! You might scan over the list and see Tony Perkins in
Psycho and think that you have found your answer, but we encourage you to look
over the entire list very closely, and see if you don't think that there are
clearly more evil villains than he! You are welcome to vote for any of the
villains listed below (please explain why you chose the person you did, and you
are also welcome to give any second or third choices)
