This won't help you, Rick, but I just remembered where I know this guy's user-name from: He repeatedly inquired about a poster I had for sale, over the course of a couple of months, asking me to send an invoice so he could purchase it. Goody-two-shoes that I am, I informed him that he would have to purchase a poster he saw on eBay through eBay (them's the rules). This sequence of events occurred a few times: He'd send me an e-mail and request an invoice, and I'd tell him to buy the dang poster first. He never replied directly. He claimed to have his own shop in Atlanta. Something haywire there. Maybe it was something he was smoking, snorting, or rubbing into his belly on those XXX movie sets... I don't know what the eBay rep saw about this guy, but from the tone of his voice it certainly didn't sound promising....almost ominous. So...I just wanted to warn everyone about this guy. It sounded like something's going down on his end and I don't want to see anyone else lose out the way I apparently have. Three or four months ago, he won about 10 of my auctions---was a month late in paying---and I received an email from his "wife" saying that he was in the hospital. With what has transpired, now I don't believe that hospital hogwash for a minute. I have no doubt that good ol' RALPH LEWIS (xxxdirector) sent that email to me himself. A note to sellers: if you don't block this guy from your auctions, it's at your own risk. Hey, there's nothing better than to sell 17 items to one buyer....but there's nothing worse than to get stiffed for those 17 items a few weeks or a couple of months later.
