Why don't you start with Profiles In History. They'll probably want
photos but they should be able to give you an estimate as to how much
they'd yield at auction. Also there's Philip Weiss at the Philip Weiss
Auctions in Oceanside, N.Y. I had talked to him about WWI and WWII
posters at one time. He's now a regular on Antiques Road Show. FRANC

Subject: [MOPO] OT: Looking for an expert on WWII memorabilia

I am back from my cross country drive with my dads estate and just
starting to pick through things. He was a youth in Germany when the war
started and escaped to Austria before things go too bad and then to the
US. He brought with him a few items from that time which I remember
seeing as a kid and now trying to get more info on them and possible
values. Does anyone out there know of an expert that I could contact
via email and send images? Any help is greatly appreciated. I tried
google but came up empty.
