there is no doubt anyone can sell whatever they want for whatever price...
but such over pricing makes the dealer suspect.

One presumes the auction is there to sell an item. But seeing the same high
price for over a year means the seller is not responsive to the market.

It's also outrageous to see a poster sell for $500 on ebay and that buyer put it up on ebay for $2500 the following week! (and it's been there for a year now!)

It shows that the dealer is out of touch with the market and a rip off.
No one wants to be ripped of except michael jackson and now he's gone.

Yes there are exceptions to everything and some items sell for outrageous prices
but those are rare instances.

it's a moron who jut waits for the lightning strikes to hit him.

I suspect real sellers and buyers will come back with the economy.
Sellers who can afford it are holding good items for when they can command better dollars. (However time will also lower prices on some items as they will not be as desirable. Newel collectors really don't want what the older collector does
