*Have you yet discovered the joys of collecting Japanese B2 posters and/or Italian locandinas?* Japanese B2 posters often have completely different images from their U.S. counterparts, and (dare I say it?) often have superior images! They are a great size to frame, because they fit in many places that one-sheets simply do not. And many are *VERY* affordable. But I must warn you that it is hard to buy "just one or two", and many collectors got their first of these and now have a "Japanese poster on their back" and are finding it very hard to "kick the habit"! The same can be said of Italian locandinas. These posters are kind of like U.S. inserts, but most are artwork, and you can find lots of them on classic U.S. titles, but also "country of origin" posters from spaghetti westerns and sword and sandal movies! And they too fit in all kinds of places in your home where larger posters won't!
If you would like to add some Japanese B2 posters or Italian locandinas to your collection (either great titles or lesser ones), then tonight's set of auctions (450 Japanese B2s and 310 Italian locandinas) is for *YOU!* I just eyeballed the gallery of these posters at *http://www.emovieposter.com/** agallery/mode/0/13.htm*l<http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/mode/0/13.html>and looked at those 760 items I have closing tonight, Tuesday night (including *LOTS* of "better" titles, but only a few that you need to be wealthy to consider bidding on!), and *I SAW LOTS OF REALLY EXCELLENT VALUES ON QUALITY ITEMS, AND SOME BEING PRACTICALLY GIVEN AWAY! I HAD TO PINCH MYSELF TO BE CERTAIN I WASN'T DREAMING!* ** With just 13 hours to go, there are a whopping 185 of them at still at $1 each or under (and what does *ONE DOLLAR* buy you anywhere these days?), 255 are at just $3 each or under, 349 are at just $5 each or under, and 426 are at $7 each or under and those numbers include lots and lots of *REALLY* nice inserts that you would expect to see at $20, $30 or much more on many dealers' websites! And almost *ALL* of the remaining 334 that are $8 each or over are at really reasonable prices with just 12 hours to go, and they include some * REALLY* good titles, including *THRONE OF BLOOD (and many other great Kurosawas!)*, *SABRINA R65*, *Le Mans*, *8 1/2*, *RIVER OF NO RETURN (R74, with the best full-length image of sexiest Marilyn Monroe playing guitar!)*, *FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD*, *Endless Summer,** *and on and on! If you have been in this hobby for any length of time, you *KNOW* these sorts of titles *VERY* rarely sell for any kind of bargain, but that may well happen tonight! Now I flat-out *REFUSE* to believe they can end at the current prices (I think it is only the weak economy causing temporary weakness in some prices, and that once the world stabilizes, people will look back at some current prices, and say, "I absolutely shoulda bought much more"), and I am sure many of these non-U.S. posters will get more bids, but if you have been thinking "Where are there good deals in this hobby?", you need look no further than these auctions! Go to *http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/mode/0/13.html* to check them out for yourself. *REMEMBER!* If you are a member of my weekly e-mail club (see below), you only have to buy 15 of these posters to get a set of all 22 of my in-print books as a free bonus! (If you somehow aren't one of the 5,400+ members, go to* http://www.emovieposter.com/mail/clubsignup.php* and join right now!). *GIVEN THAT SO MANY OF THESE ARE AT $3 OR LESS, YOU ARE VIRTUALLY ASSURED TO BE ABLE TO GET 15 OF THEM OF YOUR CHOICE PLUS THE 22 $20 BOOKS FOR AROUND $30 TO $40, AND HOW SILLY IS THAT?* And remember that the very best thing about these auctions is that there are no reserves or $14 buyers premiums (so they will all really sell at these low low prices) and *THAT YOU ONLY PAY A SINGLE $9 U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE NO MATTER HOW MANY OF THESE YOU BUY, SO YOU MAY WELL BUY 20 OR 30 OF THEM FOR JUST A FEW DOLLARS EACH* (either solely those, or in addition to more expensive posters) *AND YOU ONLY PAY A TOTAL OF $9 U.S. SHIPPING FOR ALL OF THEM!* *COMPARE THAT TO THOSE "OTHER GUYS" WHO PRETEND TO HAVE $1 NO RESERVE AUCTIONS, BUT WHO CHARGE YOU A WHOPPING $14 BUYERS PREMIUM PER ITEM, NOSE-BLEED SHIPPING CHARGES, AND HUGE SALES TAXES WHEN YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, NEW YORK, OR TEXAS! * And I don't want to read even one of those "If I had any idea item X could sell so low, so I didn't bid" kinds of posts come Wednesday morning! * * ------------------------------ * We have a great weekly e-mail club!
