I have read in this forum and others that these Universal fakes were so good
that almost all the leading horror collectors, dealers, and auction houses
were unable to tell them from originals. Yet Mr. Fishler stated online that
one of the items he received was obviously a repro.
*I am trying to understand how a doctored photocopy can look the same as an
original* (especially to very long time collectors or dealers or auction
houses), and I have not ever seen one of these in person.
If anyone who has one of the expensive ones of these in their possession
will send it to me so I can see it in person, I will quickly examine it and
return it, and I will pay the shipping both ways, plus $100 as a fee. I only
want to see *ONE* of these, so please contact me by e-mail or phone, so we
can arrange it, and my offer is good for the first person who sends me one
(after we mutually agree).
