About the Stills We Are Offering Note that these stills come to us from several very longtime collectors, and the vast bulk of them come from one specific collector, who loved candid stills that showed the director of the movie, and he made great efforts to seek out "better" images when he bought non-candid stills, and he went for the absolute best condition he could find, which makes for a pretty amazing group of stills! The other stills came from a variety of other consignors, and we included them with this special collection, because we felt they were of a similar quality to the ones from this remarkable collection! All of the stills in this auction came from longtime collectors who purchased them from poster exchanges and from collectible stores many years ago, and they were the sort of people who sifted through thousands of vintage stills to find "the right one", which explains why this set of auctions contains so many wonderful vintage stills, and why so many of them are in really nice condition (don't be fooled by our ultra-harsh grading as most of these stills are in quite nice condition, especially given their age).
