bruce--

would "punching up" even work in this case? the piece looks as tho it has been exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time-- the color is so washed out and faded. the copy you sold is vibrant, and even the heritage copy has good skin tones. this image has an overall bluish cast to it --as often happens when inked paper and sun have fun together.

You could have it "punched up" and it will look like new look enough to get it sold to an unsuspecting buyer and long enough for him to not be able to put in a PayPal claim or leave negative feedback.

Kind of like putting sand in the differential of a junky old car.

the above "faded" poster is the ORIGINAL 1949 insert, which was what prompted all the talk yesterday about fading.

i would be interested in your comments. certainly, emovieposter's image shows bright reds, whereas heritage's image is more like mine.

notice: the red lettering on top is faded, hair is not the deep brown, nor is the title. "AINT GOT NO" RED lips and the face tones are lacking....etc.

(paper loss is limited to the bottom left corner with no problems of the fold lines, etc.)

thoughts about the condition?
