true story.... when Amos the Amish woodworker called me....
I said I hop I dont offend but I make stuff related to movies..... well
he had no idea what I was talking about...
I said actually the zoetrope was invented in 1840s and well I also want
to make magic lanterss
and optical toy stuff....... I wondered if it was like going to cause
the entire amish community to chase me out of town once they saw what I
was talking about...
Well amos and I said our meeting was perhaps so strange you couldnt ever
imagine that someone would approach them like me..
well invention and discovery are whats happens I think when you dont
follow standar rules of thought.
add pasion and a general love of your craft or work and things get
interesting... take that love out like GM
and the big 3 did and you get a Toyota.. pride in workmanship, and
dependability and all.

Its tempting to cut corners I was offered clock motors half price for a
order off clocks going to Germany I did...
I said Ill pay double as these are beeing shipped to Germany where they
appreciate quality items.. I will not insult them with poor made just
for Prices savings to me... Nada!
I turned down a 7000.00 order from Disney and thought I went mad because
I needed the money bad!
a week later Roy Disney left the company sighting the poor quality of
Merchandise tha they had stooped to.
It was a commemorative piece for WALT DISNEY... I said sir Walt
represents to me a pinnacle of creativity I will not shave of quality
and make a cheap souvineer !
So when Roy left and I saw the resignation letter I thought thats
exactly how I think too... go get em ROY
and i joined the save disney group.....
I would love to work with Roy on a project.
