βIt saddens me,β he said. βI feel like this hobby has been degraded in a way.β What is really sad is that none of this exposure will affect guys like Thomas Loce, who still continues to brand himself "The King of Posters". That is sad AND pathetic. I wish legal action was raised against the day-to-day reprinters and forgers that make their money on the $75-150 crowd, and do it very successfully because people write off such purchases, even if they eventually find out they were not originals.
What really gets me is that Loce doesn't even take the time to change his descriptions - he still lists posters that were printed literally yesterday, as still originating/being printed by, yes, the National Screen Service. Unbelievable. This hobby didn't just start being assaulted by these guys overnight, they've been doing it for years, and nobody wants to do anything about it. That's the saddest part.
