I'm not in the market for a CREATURE poster right now (I sold my
onesheet earlier this year) but, for all it's worth, I purchased a
rather expensive poster from this seller recently,
which was also linenbacked, but exactly as described.
I spoke to the seller on the phone after the sale, and we had a very
pleasant conversation. My understanding is, that he deals primarily
in vintage toys and he purchased the few movie posters he has for his
personal collection.
Of course, I can't say anything about the CREATURE poster, but, if
you at all consider buying this, I'm sure he would be glad to give
you any desired information.
Please keep in mind, that the majority of the fake posters were
apparently distributed among a VERY SMALL CIRCLE of collectors, so
while anybody should be cautios in purchasing high-end posters (or
any other high-priced item) over the internet, I see no reason for
paranoia here.
