This points up three very important points: 1) Many of the people who say they hate extended bidding did little or no buying from me when I was on eBay without it. 2) Many of the people who say they like extended bidding did a lot of buying from me when I was on eBay without it, and many of them buy even more now.
So should I tailor my business according to those who do buy from me or those that don't? That seems to be a no brainer to me, but what do I know and 3) Evan has looked at the extended bidding and found ways to use it to his advantage, as have many of my bidders. It makes sense to adapt to changing technology rather than gripe about it. In my opinion, fixed-time ended bidding is a dinosaur that is fading away. Cling to your wonderful memories of it, if you must, but you will have to adapt at some point, or you won't be buying very much.
