These guys defended Kazaa in court. I mean, is that something you *want* on
your resume?? Here's how it settled, with the good guys of Gersh behind it:
"Kazaa has reached a global settlement with the entertainment biz that will
see it pay record companies $115 million and movie studios an unspecified
amount estimated in the low tens of millions", from Variety. Wow, what a
stunning victory. And that's what is on Mr. Gersh's second paragraph
describing his experience. Wow, I guess if my lawyer finished up his case
with me paying $115+ million, I think I'd have to do more than fire the
idiot.
But they have a nice website, pretty lights, and flash. Good lawyers have
to have flash on their site, or they're not good lawyers.
I love that the counterclaim is all, "Nuh-uh, he did it." Pretty stunning
defense.
Haggard is gonna get everything he paid for with this bunch, it looks like.
