When I read this, it reminds me of my sainted grandmother who paid good money to encase her living room "suit" in clear plastic. It was one of those 6 pieces for $999 deals. The clear plastic coverings made you sweat and were uncomfortable as hell. But, she came from a family with 15 kids who probably thought the set should last forever....even though we had to pay someone to haul it away!!
