I had suggested to Rick and will pass this info along. Many local framers throw away scrap cardboard. I'm sure if you were to call a few of them, they would be willing to cut you some inserts from that scrap to make a bit of money. You can buy sheets of cardboard 36"x 72" for a couple of dollars from most paper companies. Cutting it yourself is the most economical, but if a local framer will cut up some of their scraps for you for not much, that's the way to go. Then you have no shipping and not upcharges.

Does anyone know of a source for pre-cut cardboard inserts that are strong enough for mailing? I had U-line send me samples of their chipboard inserts (sorry, didn't know what that was at the time but sounded strong) but it is definately not shipping quality. Chipboard is more like a single side of a record album (for those that remember records). I find sources for boxes but not inserts. Any help is greatly appreciated.
