"Fact: Buyers tend to ignore auctions with high starting bids". yes......this is true for EBAY AUCTIONS...........but not true for EBAY BUY IT NOW FIXED PRICE listings....which this listing was, it was not an "auction". There is a major difference between ebay AUCTIONS and ebay FIXED PRICE listings. I just looked and someone with zero feedback bought it.....so we'll see if it was a real sale or not. if it was....then great for Walter!..... If it wasn't, then he'll get all his fees back and probably re list it.
