Hi Rick-
Yes, I agree about the greatest teaming in cinematic history. Tracy and
March.....like champagne and caviar.....can any teaming be better? Just a
shame that both of those guys are so underated by today's audiences.
Just looked INHERIT THE WIND up on Amazon. Its on dvd......gotta have it!
    Steve

  Hi, Steve,

Thanks for the kind response. In reading Dave's email, the image of Fredric
March just flashed through my mind--such an incredible performance---perhaps
the greatest teaming up of two actors in the history of film.
Anyway, I'm glad you appreciated it. It's always nice to put a smile on
someone's face in these difficult times.
        Thanks very much,
                                                                   Rick

    Hey Rick-
Taking a bit of a detour here from the WOODSTOCK discussion but I have
to comment. Your analogy to Fredric March trying his damndest to make
reality conform to his "reality" in INHERIT THE WIND is a riot!
Not dissing Dave on this. As some of you know, I am the pastor of
two churches. I am thinking of all of the "committees", "boards" and
"councils" that I sit on and how often I have seen performances by members of
these groups give Fredric March's performance a run for his money in trying to
make their points. I will keep this image in my mind from now on to help me
relax and step back a bit mentally when my patience and temper are about to
blend into one!
        Thanks for a smile.
         Steve

      Hey, Dave,

You're starting to sound like Fredric March at the end of "Inherit The
Wind"--- frantically clinging on to your belief that these fake posters are
real-----as if your whole existence rides on that fact...
We all know a lot of MONEY certainly is at stake. Hey, you might have a
roll of 50 of those suckers in your inventory. You're just as stubborn with
this situation as you were with the Vertigo one sheet a few months ago---kind
of like Fredric March rattling off the names of the books of the Bible as his
sanity implodes.
You can create your own reality if you want about the authenticity of
these one sheets--or your rolled Cool Hand Luke one sheet--or your rolled
Yellow Submarine one sheets. The problem is-----the reality you create could
very well affect a lot of unsuspecting buyers who put their faith in you as
some kind of movie poster "expert". You've made it clear as day in your posts
that you're no expert when it comes to movie posters. You can rattle off some
trumped up facts about the Woodstock one sheets being real (honestly, it's
getting to sound a little too much like Fredric March rattling off the names of
the books of the Bible---kind of scary).
Welcome to Movie Poster 1984---wrong is right + bad is good + fake is
real....
