With all the insanely high prices on eBay, I've actually had prospective
buyers tell me they were apprehensive about buying from me because my prices
were so LOW they assumed I was selling repros!
When you see original Grease one sheets all over eBay for $125 and $185 and
$225 or even more---then I have one at an opening bid of $24.99 Buy It Now
$45.00, they assume that my poster is in some way different or inferior to
the one sheets that are listed at a much higher price. I listed it once at
$24.99 and a second time at $19.99---when it didn't sell the second time,
I sold it privately. I also have a Superman Meets The Mole Men one sheet
that I value at 3 grand, but Loce has it listed in his store at $9500. I
have a mint Yellow Submarine one sheet that I value at about $1200, but
Cinemagraphics would probably sell it for 5 or 6 grand (and unlike their's--
mine
is folded--unused--mint---and REAL). It's no mystery why there are so many
ridiculously high prices on movie posters all over eBay. The premier eBay
dealer has set an insanely high standard and all the "little guys" out
there follow suit when they decide to sell their posters.
